The under-boiler magnetic dirt separator filter is a device specifically designed to filter the inlet water to the boiler, preventing dirt and potentially harmful debris from entering the heating system.
How does a magnetic dirt separator filter work?
The water entering the filter body undergoes a reduction in flow velocity which allows initial settling of sludge and debris contained in the fluid, depositing by gravity along the walls of the settling chamber, while ferrous particles are retained by the attractive force of a small yet powerful magnet, usually positioned in the device’s closing cap.
A filtering mesh then captures any remaining particles, ensuring optimal protection and the supply of clean water to the boiler, free from substances harmful to the entire heating system.
Why install a magnetic dirt separator filter?
Dirt and sediments inside heating systems are the main causes of
