Cosmo 2 is a semi-automatic cleaning water filter featuring cartridge brushing and impurity discharge.
It is manufactured in compliance with D.M. N°174/04, D.M. 25/12, and UNI CTI 8065.
The drain connection includes an anti-backflow system in accordance with the European Standard UNI EN 1717/2002.

CTriple-layer cartridge
The 90-micron filter cartridge is composed of three layers. The inner layer, or perforated support body, provides structural support to the filter mesh and reinforces the cartridge.
The uniform surface and end welding of the cartridge prevent dangerous stress on the brushes and filter mesh, ensuring the brushing energy focuses solely on dirt removal rather than deforming the cylinder. The intermediate layer improves water flow by acting as a diffuser and provides additional support to the dirt-trapping layer.
The outer layer, or filter mesh, fits perfectly over the cylinder surface, ensuring greater reliability and consistent performance.
No-Drip System
The internal design of the housing prevents dirt from accumulating in the o-ring sealing area during filter operation.
This avoids leaks during cleaning, ensuring an efficient and drip-free system.
Drain valve with anti-backflow system
The exclusive funnel design prevents water contamination inside the water filter during cleaning.
The side openings block the backflow of dirty water in case of a clogged drain.
This enhances safety, prevents contamination, and reduces maintenance costs, making it a practical and reliable solution for modern and secure systems.
Cleaning with cartridge brushing and impurity discharge
By rotating the cleaning knob, the internal filtration system is activated, brushing the entire surface of the cartridge.
The discharge occurs progressively every 90° of rotation, removing accumulated dirt.
This system eliminates the need for cartridge replacement or manual cleaning, ensuring convenience and cost savings.
